Students enrolled in the Court Transcription program require a shorthand machine to successfully complete the curriculum requirement. This item is for new students to the CT program (including students transfering from Discover Steno) or for any students who are renting a machine for the first time. All students must have signed an online rental agreement. Please contact shop@nait.ca if you have not yet signed this agreement.

The cost of this item includes:
  • a $300 rental fee (non-refundable), which covers rental for 12 months 
  • a $45 admin fee (non-refundable), and
  • a $600 fully refundable damage deposit 

Please note that it is recommended that the machines be picked up in-person. Shipping is available, but costly. If you do want shipping, please contact us at the email below with your address so we can give you an estimated cost of shipping your unit.
